Ms. Cherniack has been affiliated for many years with the Law Office of Jack McMahon. Jack McMahon, Esq. is a nationally known attorney who has litigated thousands of criminal cases throughout Philadelphia and the country. Ms. Cherniack is honored to have been selected to work with Mr. McMahon and has learned valuable trial skills from him.

Ms. Cherniack has handled hundreds of adult and juvenile criminal cases ranging from Pennsylvania DUI to narcotics, assault, battery, rape and even homicide cases  Ms. Cherniack has achieved amazing success on these matters and  promises to work extremely hard to secure the best possible outcome on each case. Ms. Cherniack has also earned a reputation as a caring and knowledgeable family lawyer by handling divorce, custody, child support and adoption cases with all the necessary patience and care each matter deserves.

Prior to going into private practice, Ms. Cherniack served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gary S. Glazer of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, where she learned about criminal and civil practice. Ms. Cherniack is committed to giving back to the community. She serves as a volunteer attorney for Philadelphia VIP and  an arbitrator for the Compulsory Arbitration program of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Ms. Cherniack is a graduate of Northwestern University and earned her law degree from Case Western Reserve University. While in law school, she also completed a master’s degree in legal history with honors. She is admitted into federal and state courts in Pennsylvania.

In college, Ms. Cherniack was a nationally ranked fencer and learned to maintain focus, concentration, and emotional level headedness under intense conditions of combat. She brings those same skills to her litigation.
